1. In the graph below  a single low dose of the pertussis vaccine given at 8 weeks of life caused a tripling in the risk of diabetes in animals that had received the anthrax (A) and diptheria-tetanus (DT) vaccines starting at birth.

Discussion

  Immunization of diabetes prone mice with low doses of the pertussis vaccine starting at age 8 weeks of life increased the risk of diabetes in several animal studies.
